Plotly Cloud supports enterprise teams looking to host and share Dash apps and Plotly Studio applications across their organization. The platform handles authentication automatically, removing the need to build it into individual applications. Users can be added directly from within the organization and assigned specific permissions like view or edit access based on their role.
Team settings provide a central hub for managing the entire workspace. Administrators can monitor viewer limits, track Plotly billing, and see which users have been added to the team. Teams can publish as many apps as needed within their plan.
Enterprise tier users gain access to specialized libraries including Dash Design Kit, Dash Embedded, and Dash OAuth Connections for external integrations. Single sign-on is also available, allowing organizations to use their existing user provisioning systems for Plotly Cloud alongside other internal tools. This maintains consistent identity protection and security standards across the full product suite.
Key capabilities include:
- Integrated authentication that works without custom application setup
- Granular permission controls for individual team members
- Central team management for billing, credits, and user access
- Enterprise libraries for advanced design and connectivity features
- Single sign-on support for unified identity management
