The video shows how to publish a Plotly Studio app to the web using Plotly Cloud. The presenter builds an interactive dashboard in Plotly Studio with linked charts, then deploys it by clicking the publish button. The app appears in Plotly Cloud with build status, and the sharing settings control visibility. Public lets anyone view the app, while Private keeps it restricted with access granted by email. The URL can be customized in the app settings to replace the random string with a readable path. Plotly Cloud includes built-in authentication so you do not have to build your own.

Highlights

  • One click publish from Plotly Studio to Plotly Cloud
  • Public or private access with email based sharing
  • Customizable app URL and built in auth
  • Simple rotation strategy using stop to free a slot
  • Works for hand coded Dash apps and AI built apps in Plotly Studio
